'''Mephistophales Moonbeam''' is a travelling illusionist who is ostensibly persona non grata at the Library of Tundmatusse near [[Dwardle]]. He bears a passing resemblance to [[Xavier Moonbeam]], and is potentially a family member of that dynasty.

= Appearance=

When first encountered, the tallish human illusionist known as Mephistophales was camping in the foothills of the Dwardleford mountains near Dwardle. His blond hair was coiffed superbly in a slightly aged style. He was wearing a luxurious midnight blue travelling robe and cloak, and drying his socks over a magical fire. His tent was a rounded marquee that was spacious enough for an illusionist to enjoy, and he had a horse that was tied to a post nearby.
