The city itself is a modest collection of buildings with a bustling population, the main dirt tracks and roads run like a spiders' webs throughout, with a mixture of modest thatch and wooden abodes for the poorer residents, whilst the rich and the fancy cram further housing and accommodation with fancy new buildings made from brick and stone into the newly formed 'The Upper Ledge' district  This new district hasn't helped with the "Rich Vs Poor" and has very much created a divide within the people. This work is great and business is booming for the local Masonry Guild called 'Ik Aul Sudvanne' (Strength of Sudvanne) run by the elves.

History

The town of Sudvanne started it's journey many years ago following the end of the religious era of the Kingdom and developed into the city that is seen today. Historically Sudvanne was setup and funded by a Red Dragonborn and their party of garden tools (Details get sketchy here as history goes on and historians can't figure out why a Dragonborn would go around with a party of Hoes (The gardening tool)) who wanted to help aid the safe space for magical users. Details of the city's founders are scarce and known by few.

Originally setup to help sustain a growing need for food in the immediate area, the City is heavily trade linked with Ilyn Bywyd the actual capital of the kingdom and a peaceful partnership has been in place for many years. Sudvanne provides the food and Ilyn Bywyd provides the gold and wealth to the area.

The first building to be constructed in the area is the 'City Verb' which now acts as the townhall and home to whichever politician or Meritan has the misfortune of overseeing it at the time. Currently this is Farmani and his group of druids who help maintain what peace they can whilst also trying to deal with The Shield Of Sudvanne a burly group of mercenaries who have instilled themselves as the town guard, some good, some bad.

Layout

The city of Sudvanne is a mess of large open districts, connected by a spiders web of various dirt roads and trails. There are no main roads really and everything feels quite packed in. There are two main parts to the city. The "Upper Ledge" and "The Lowies" (The Lowercroft). The two mentioned districts are connected by The Vance the biggest open space in the city which acts as a market place, common ground, and park. This wall-less city is surrounded by miles of farmland and pasture on all sides. The layout of the city is almost an hourglass shape where the two ends meet in The Vance and the trading houses in the area are fondly known as "The Pinch".
