Roberta Becks

A 50-year old woman with a tricorn hat, leather waistcoat and a rapier to one-side. The no-nonsense captain of ''The River Cutty'', a boat travelling the bandit-filled Dwindle river between Dwardle and Blademarket. Her daughter, Ruth Becks, serves as cabin girl on the boat.
