The Pillars of Creation are part of the Abbatchtkan creation mythos - it is believed that they reflect all that is in the world.

The Four Pillars of Creation

  • Angfarmere
  • Estefarrale
  • Likkvateril
  • Mithralesind

Angfarmere

A golden hase, a glowing infinite sunset. An autumn without end. The amber hues of red, golden yellow and orange perpetually shift, a place with hope in the endless light, and pain in long shadows. -Titan, Annal IV. Sophatic Dvren Poro

A pillar of creation Angfarmere is a golden island of tranquility associated with Tamarand. it is said that during the time of Titan and Garos, Tamarand was breathed into existance here, and the pillar reflects the personality that remained. And yet - Angfarmere appeared abandoned. Overrun. Unkempt. Discordant.

Firintin, the champion of Tamarand, searches for this place; a boon to his faithful would follow, a protection wielded by the defender of Titan's creation.

And yet, despite the golden light and meadows of perfect fields, Angfarmere appears empty.

Estefarrale

A jade and verdant valley, the pillar of creation of creatures and life. Estefarrale is the pillar associated with Xavarath, the embodiment of creation and rebirth. Amongst the green canopy, animals busy themselves, tarrying not as they work in symbiosis to the gifty of creation. The history of all beings is kept here, judged by the small and weighed by the strong.

A lush, vivid landscape, a copse-wood of mithrale and a waterfall of lilies and diamonds. Prismatic light dapples through the canopy of leaves that shade this land, and protect it from harm.

Upon a stone, a blossom tree weeps, pink petals crying over a stone plinth and a carving of a sceptre slowly being filled by the swirling petals.

The Memory of Kea stirred. Annals II, Glodende of Jade Khlass-Xo

The guardian of Estefarrale was defeated and forgotten long ago; rumours and whispers of a moss covered giant called Rhaeadr are mooted, the myths and legend of his days wandering the pillar of creation looking for the guardian are uncounted. Finding the giant could take a very long time indeed.

Mithralestarr, the four petalled flower of Xavarath

A small flower of translucent pink nestled in a verdant green and mithralewood. A silver ball appears right in the centre. It is said to only bloom in the presence of its chosen bearer. The symbol of the Mithralestarr is often carved into wood and worn by followers of Xavarath and carried to give good luck and safe travels. It is a facsimile of creation and a boon to all that hold it.

Likkvateril

As Titan toiled, Garos grew attentive to the gemstones of the eearth, and of the giant gems begat the first dragons: From Diamond: Bahamut. From Topaz; Tamarand. From Emerald; Xavarath. From Sapphire; Chaos. Annal I, Creation. Ser Pacan Fruye

A stone mine, a glittering cave. A trap of fools and a lure to treasure hunters. Likkvateril has been the most sought after fable in the world. Stories tell of gemstones taller than a man glittering in caverns of pure gold. Dwarves tell tales of beings tap-tap-tapping in the dark,, working further towards the spindle of the planes, still driven by Garos' desire to undo the work of Titan, but even so, at the centre a sapphire rests.

Likkvateril is a place of chaos. A finely balanced see saw between good and evil, its denizens can both aid or hinder based on the colour oif the air that day.

To assume motive is to fail to observe: chaos rightly reigns in Likkvateril and the greed of Garos surely tempts the storyteller in the retelling. To know the location of this, the most sought after pillar of creation is a fatal curse: May you find Likkvateril is a noble saying - To waste time, money and effort. To endorse chaos. To divert worthy effort.

Mithralesind

The pillar of Bahamut, guardian of the planes. She would fly and beneath her platinum wings an almighty cry of devotion would follow, as her people sing and carry her across the ocean, to heal, to pray and to sing and stay. Awashed by Carmina's love. Annal VI, A call to prayer. Archpriest of Abbatchtka, Concocto

Mithralesind is a location known in prayer. It is said to be aa location of Carmina's glodende: a paradise of light and platinum. It is an airy place, devoid of darkness. Yet, with passing of time, it becomes wearisome, a watchful presence permeates all and the sadness of Bahamut is evident. She mourns for the loss of Tamarand. In her solitude she tries to be the beacon of hope and good in the world: and her people would gladly follow into her warm embrace. Mithralesind is their paradise.
