King Diol Veritas Edvarr Ascent Sudvanne
Edvarr II is the current monarch of The Kingdom of Sudvanne on the continent of Osuvanne. His seat of power is located at Ilyd Bywyd on the southern part of the continent.
Appearance
The long, golden hair of the elves marks Edvarr II as a half-elf. He stands tall at over six feet, his slender frame is clothed in the riches of the kingdom which has long ruled the entire continent. The silks and golds that adorn the royal capital city are also the colours of the robes of state, with a mithril crown adorning his head. Edvarr ascended to the crown following the death of his heirless half-brother Faelinir Veritas Tama Sudvanne, known colloquially as King Faelin I. Edvarr's predecessor perished after a short illness but was thought to be a wise and kind leader.
History
As a half-elf, Edvarr has faced several calls from unscrupulous subjects that suggest he isn't worthy of the family name, nor legally obliged to the throne on which he currently sits. The loudest of these contrarians, The Shield of Sudvanne are also the most active, and have rabble-roused and started to act against the crown in various ways, be it in intimidation of loyalists or in criminal damage against the kingdom itself.
As monarch, King Edvarr II has command of the military might of Sudvanne and all the machinations that that affords.
