Firemellow

Located in the South of Volfor at the intersection of The King's Road and the road to Fort Pass, Firemellow is an important stop for trade caravans, military detachments travelling to Fort Gale or Fort Pass, and wandering travellers.

History

Stub: spitballing ideas with Mintopia!

• Firemellow started as a military location as a stopping off point & staging post for military patrols and messengers would change horses before heading north to the larger cities of Blademarket and Vol.
• It is a place where people come and go.
• There are traders for passing trade.
• Becoming more Militarily active.
• At an important crossroads.

Taverns

• King's Station is the historical name of the staging post of Firemellow. Despite being renamed as "Dove and Diamond" after the secession of the Free Republic of Volfor, the local population and its environs still call the tavern "Kings'" to this day. A large tavern, it often has all of its rooms occupied by visiting traders and given its reputation of passable ale and better food, charges a premium for the rooms it can hire out. It is run by Davin Sandleford, a travel writer who is now retired from the road, and uses his books to increase trade through his pub's doors.
