Grumbar

Grumbar of the Rumblerode Valley, Lord of the Stones, Keeper of the spindle of the planes, trusted elemental lord of Diato's favour is a deified elemental lord of earth and stone. Some of the elemental and monastic traditions worship this deity.

Grumbar is deified and a part of the Druidic Pantheon of elemental lords alongside Eiodarius of the Fire Planes, Forestraene of the Aerie Peaks and Thaeme of the drowned lands.

Following the First War of Ascension, Diato fled, banished into the material plane by the combined judgement of Bahamut, Tamarand, Xavarath and Sapphiros. During this exile, Diato was credited as the creator of the races , tamed the worlds and the elemental planes. Diato was one of the first planeswalkers, and is remembered as an important figure by the elemental lords who have longer memories than Diato's creations.

Grumbar's memories is the oldest of all. He was the first earthen elemental to encounter Diato, and seems to have become a companion of the White Dragon for a time. Grumbar has power in and of himself, but is also a custodian of items from Diato's breath, rumoured to be some of the earliest enchanted items in creation.
