Martha Pureglee
Martha Pureglee is a concerned citizen and prominent wholesale trader of goods between Dwardle and Blademarket.
Appearance
A short-even-for-a-gnome middle aged lady who wears silk robes and golden jewelry and clasps a jeweled handbag. She has a dangerously sharp hairclip holding her golden curls in place, and has a brooch of The Amahi prominently displayed on her chest.
History
A gnome of middle-ish age, Martha is a very confident and active member of society in general, and her wagons and barges are often seen on the roads between Blademarket and it's neighbouring towns and on the river Dwardle. She employs staff in a fair and well paid manner, and for all expressions of her underlings is a good boss. The loyalty displayed by her staff is impressive to outsiders, who often expect that such a professional haulage firm must have issues with some of its staffing practices.

Interaction with Multiple Sarcasms
Martha's world was thrust into line with the adventurers known as Multiple Sarcasms when she was looking for a group to deal with a bandit attack on the river caravans that run between Dwardle and Blademarket. The group have been incorporated at her behest to deal with this initial problem, with the promise of further work if things can be sorted out promptly and the trading route reopened. Although she did not have much information to go on herself, she believes that the group could investigate the attacks on the caravan further to determine who is behind the trouble. She has suggested that the group use the trade caravan vessel ''The River Cutty'' and act as a security detachment on board for the next shipment.
