After Shadow of a star left the party to speak with the first tabaxi the [[Multiple Sarcasms]] have seen on their adventures, The group managed to find [[Berwick Andersmith]] / [[The Drowned]] who had followed them through the Library of Tundmatusse and beyond the lakebed to [[Kosmon]], the village amongst the planes. The group know that they are on a clock: Maestrid has stated that the portal to the Plane of Ash will likely disappear within 2 days, and there is little evidence that the portal will be returning anytime soon after that. Trying to gather their thoughts before the trip beyond the material plane, the adventurers rested, briefly, in the marquee meeting place in the shade of the portals. They met a halfling called [[Stumble]], a shrill creature that has been bribed into helping the group in return for gold and any of the loot that is found on their travels. Synopsis
