The Ahne Oasis is a small location that is almost apocryphal for adventurers. Located in The Morr Desert, it is a location that often searched for by aspiring (and poor) dungeon delvers looking for the lost treasure of the Old Kingdom.

History
The Ahne Oasis is located some 70 miles from Abbatchtka (City) in The Morr Desert. It has many rumours and legends that swirl around the area. It is believed by Abbatchtkan historians that the Tomb of the First Emperor was built here, though official documentation doesn't even mention such a mausoleum. Further rumours suggest that the site may also be associated with Diato.
Archaelogy
At the center of The Oasis are meant to be the ruins of the city and standing untouched amongst them, the Temple of The Emperor. This was allegedly a 400 foot high sandstone pyramid capped with a limestone point. Within is rumours to lie the treasures of the Old Kingdom, the final resting place of The Emperor and fortune. As yet, no verified expeditions have confirmed the presence of the temple and there are no reputable accounts.
Modern Exploration
Spurred on by rumours of treasures, novice adventurers and treasure seekers often set out from Abbatchka across The Morr Desert to find The Oasis. Unreputable guides offer their services and pray on these inexperienced tourists, taking upfront payment and stranding them in the desert to die of thirst and hunger.
An notable expedition of warriors, archaelogists and treasure hunters set forth for The Oasis 10 years ago, but only 2 people returned alive, claiming to have visited the Temple and telling stories of the horrifying things within - although they're more talkative about it when bought drinks by the same gullible tourists who now seek the treasures.
